Bellmouth Papercone

1.
Stranger On A Shore You land, descend, a ship without a why In grim determined mind and from a clear blue sky. And so, I know, as soon as you can see In spite of all my love, you’ll take my Id from me. I’ve buried all my friends, would bury them again I’ve dug a hole for you, so you will forget my name. Through tempest, loss and space, I gather here my will And press it to the place where reason hovers still. You land, descend, a ship without a why In grim determined mind and from a clear blue sky.
2.
Beat The Drum Slowly I hear, listen, attend, receive, your spoken, broadcast and transmitted words; my drum vibrates in time to taught cords in rhythmic sympathies of amplified desire. There is so little to be said without or within and the gates of verbal commerce would remain shut and locked. Beat the drum slowly, whisper me only stories of summer skies at end of day, falling asleep in cotton sheets; such moments translated into musical foibles and linguistications to facinate a suggestive tympanum. Banging my head upon the wall will crack the cranial egg so sooth my ossical follicles with song instead and I’ll close my reddening eyes whose whites are glowing like a coxcomb and turn both to face the wind of auditory balm.
3.
Listening and speaking Listening and speaking I’ve tried so hard, I,m trying still Conversion of form or Reversal of waves, A through flow Noise nonsense Stut-uttering comprehensive Educationals Where coloured sound Enamorates or vitalises A decaying mind Skeletal shifts of agitated ossicles In rictus dancing Do not forsake me, Oh my darling, My darling wave Raise me high between Liquid and gaseous humours Into a sonorous peace. ----- Chorus A skylark above the hill sings Of what it sees and what it hopes; Amongst bracken I wish for wings And a clear, mellifluous throat.
