cutting trouser belted squeeze,
I’ve felt better but I would never
wish for these obesities.
Got a head that hurts to crack
a blinding cleft from chin to crown,
a collar soiled and buttonburst
shirt a yoke upon my back.
Feets engougeously rank
my nails are black or fallen off,
posteriority is certain to
give bulge and beef to swank.
A certain dulling of the wits,
a third eyelidded coma break,
turgid, grating counterpoint
debate the sated polly tricks.
Ground to a haltered pedigree
a wee bit more than just weary,
knackered and skin sore bored
of these threads, I dream of nudity.
Dull to the point of entropising,
explore, expose your fine rude health,
cast off from thee thy carapace,
strip and slip from constant sizing.
Upon the slated earth your salty scales
thrown down and broken there,
step light in colours clamorous
this concord of form and thought avails.
Ancestral lineage descends
from one skin to another,
we wriggle and claw and slide free
from inverted inertial portents.

to play the breath that cannot sing,
to slide the hair and press each cast
from mouth to tail, eternal ring.
My kingdom for a kingdom safe
from booted heel and selfish share,
turns earth over, bound in service
crushed and breathless and bare.
Dangerous endangered wait
for the warming earth and rise,
with heated blood and sharpened wit,
the yolk yellow sun revolutionise.

Wall Lizard
The sun moved and a head turned,
drawn across the sky by compulsion,
propelled in curved orbit.
Blinking or watching three eyes see
enough to know the cycles sleeping.
Wall mounted, treasured heat -
Olympian feats of scale;
rides the marches to a bounded aesthete.
Slide lizardly past vertebrated nerves,
flick sciatic ashes on your brow.
An opening to ideas, an eye to soulish mores
unflinching releasify the crawl
unburdened and unskinnned, alive;
brought up sharp here and clearly
seen to stare backwards or within.
Toasted on the stones of destiny,
toes curling around the point -
never procrast, prevaricate, I
The King of actions rapid,
raced against the sandstone book.
Cat curdling flavour - tastes,
mine are impeccable, my suit
lines crisp and lustrous, lips
curved at each corner smiling
from tongue tip to tail’s whip.
